Zespół "Ballet Afrah El Djazair" został założony w 1993 roku i jest jednym z najpopularniejszych zespołów folklorystycznych nie tylko w swoim mieście Sidi Bel Abbes, ale i w całej Algierii. Grupa liczy 20 członków wykonujących tradycyjne algierskie tańce i muzykę ludową. Zespół posiada bogatą kolekcję tradycyjnych strojów z całej Algierii. Muzycy grają na tradycyjnych instrumentach takich jak: gallal, bendir, derbouka, gombri, ghaita, gasba, karkabou i tam. Zespół koncertował m.in. w Hiszpanii, Estonii, Francji, Holandii, Włoszech, Niemczech, Bułgarii, Grecji, Finlandii, Serbii i Czarnogórze. Można powiedzieć, że "Ballet Afrah El Djazair" jest ambasadorem algierskiej kultury i ludowych tradycji na całym świecie.
